A few weeks ago we were at a family function at Dee and Karen's house. Harris was playing with some cars and dinosaur toys in the living room, and I decided to strike up a conversation with him just to see what he would say. I asked him, "What do you have?" Being a typical two year old, he responded by grunting at me with a scowl on his face, throwing his toys on the ground, and stomping off into the kitchen. When he reached the linoleum floors he slipped and fell on his bottom. He came running back to me crying. When he got to me I said, "Now son, that is what we call Karma!" Maybe, if I start young, he will understand that all of his actions have a consequence, whether it is directly related to the choice he made, or just an act of nature maintaining balance in the world. :)
